Club Members

Grassroot Clubs like Shooters FC can’t run without the support and hard work of coaches and parents. We are grateful for the time and commitment our volunteers put into the running of the club and organising football for the children.

 

We are always on the lookout for new volunteers to help with coaching or the administration, so if you think you can help, please let us know.

Jason Holmes - Chairman

As Chairman, Jason is responsible for making sure our club runs efficiently. He chairs our meetings and the AGM. As Chairman, he makes decisions for the benefit of the whole club.

Vice Chairman - Peter Askew

As Vice Chairman Peter is responsible for making sure our club runs efficiently. He also chairs our meetings and supports ours AGM. As Vice Chairman, he makes decisions for the benefit of the whole club.

Peter Askew - Club Secretary

As Secretary, Peter represents ShootersFC at various levels/forums. Peter ensures we are running effectively and that all FA League and Club requirements are completed. This includes a register of players, so please help him out by returning admin on time and contact him if any changes. Jason Holmes - Child Welfare Officer Assistant

Jason is a qualified CWO and will continue to support the role when necessary.

Nicola Norman - Child Welfare Officer

Nicola is the clubs qualified Child Welfare Officer and ensures ShootersFC and its members are clear about its responsibilities when running activities and also those actively involved understand their duty of care on a day to day basis. With other members of ShootersFC the CWO will promote policies and also raise awareness for example on anti-bullying, use of internet, racism and understanding procedures in particular for reporting safeguarding concerns including discrimination.

Julie Frost - Club Treasurer

As our treasurer Julie records and monitors our club finances and ensures we have adequate funds available to meet running costs. This includes checking invoices are accurate and paid on time (so if a facility is cancelled make sure you tell her!). At the end of the season Julie completes our accounts for audit approval and submission to the FA.

Vacant - Club Volunteer Co-ordinator

This is an important and pivotal in securing the clubs future. We are looking for someone who can assist in identification of potential talent and the ability to recruit volunteers to fill vacancies and bring something to the team.

Covid Officer

With our current environment we need to ensure that the club and our facilities are able to follow FA and government guidelines in relation to Covid.
